How can I learn how to pronounce a word correctly?
By learning the different sounds of English and the phonemic symbol for each sound. This way you can ‘read’ the pronunciation of a word in the dictionary when you learn new words.
Join me for the 4 week Pronunciation course: Introduction to the phonemic chart, where I’ll teach you the different sounds of English so that you can improve not just your speaking but also your listening.
In this course you’ll:
⭐ Learn the different sounds of the English language, focusing on the mouth position needed to say them correctly and clearly
⭐ Learn to hear the different sounds of English
⭐ Discover common pronunciation difficulties for different nationalities, to help you understand your own pronunciation challenges but also to be able to understand other people from different countries
⭐ Practise the difference between similar sounding words, eg sheep / ship, ship / chip, which will help both your listening and speaking skills in English
⭐ Practise speaking with students from other countries
⭐Start to feel more confident with your English speaking and listening
⭐Have fun and maybe make some new friends along the way
⭐ Each session will be 1.5 hours long and will take place on Zoom.
⭐ Zoom link will be sent to you once you have registered and paid.
